My Why

I believe branding is more than just a pretty logo or statement. It’s a vehicle for impact. I use branding as a tool to help purpose-driven startups stand out and more importantly, show they stand for something.

The work I do is to help driven and passionate startup teams make a positive impact on the world by attracting people to their vision.

This is my story and how I got to where I am today.

My Story

Entrepreneurs are a different kind of people. We’re stubbornly passionate and unfailingly optimistic. We care an awful lot about solutions—we’re actually obsessed with them. We thrive on the energy of innovation and dreaming up fresh takes on old ways. Our schedules are a scattershot of Zoom calls, dinners at our desks, and introductory emails and inquiries. We come up with ideas in our sleep, and we run on strong coffee and even stronger ambition.

You always know when you’ve met a true entrepreneur, and you know pretty early on if you are one yourself.

I was 13 when I recognized my own entrepreneurial spirit. It was when my parents gifted me my first personal computer. I became obsessed with what it could do and what I could create with it. I spent countless hours teaching myself everything I could about computer programming. My friends and I spent days brainstorming ideas for apps and exploring the different ways we could use programming to create something ingenious that would make an impact on people’s lives, no matter how big or small.

When I graduated high school, I kept pursuing my passion for programming and entered the University of Florida as a computer science major. True to form as an entrepreneur, I quickly found myself oscillating between the demands of schoolwork and a deep desire to dive straight into the world of entrepreneurship and learn from ambitious innovators and big thinkers that were already thriving. I wanted to learn how they worked and how they funneled their creative spirit into innovation.

But I knew I needed to finish what I started by obtaining a college degree—after all, I was going to be the first in my family to make that accomplishment.

Everything changed after my sophomore year when I picked up the book Insanely Simple by Ken Segall. The book examines how Steve Jobs and his team used the concept of simplicity to transform Apple into a revolutionary tech brand. It illuminated for me the crucial role that branding plays when launching a product or company. I devoured it. I came to understand the inextricable links between advertising, innovation, and human psychology. It showed me that my passion for programming as a teenager was really a passion for creating something of value.

More than ever, I wanted to get away from my computer monitor, looking at lines of code all day. I wanted to understand how to market innovative products and ideas to people. I wanted to be an integral part of maximizing their impact.

I switched my major to advertising shortly after that and felt a newfound energy to venture out into the “real world” and start contributing.

Right after graduation, I took a leap of faith and combined my passions - advertising & entrepreneurship.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work with hundreds of purpose-driven startup founders to launch their brands and convey their unique offering to the world.

Purpose-driven entrepreneurs are unique in the world of entrepreneurialism. You know if you are one. Your passion is contagious, and your vision is led by a higher purpose to better our world. My role is to amplify your impact by conveying your vision and attracting the right people to your organization.

My mission is to help as many purpose-driven founders as I can make their dent on the world by sharing their vision and values. Steve Jobs famously said that he wanted to make a ding in the universe. He did exactly that by revolutionizing technology and changing the way we interact with the world. I’m driven to help you do the same with your brand.
